Chop It Up (CIU) sessions aren’t just led by us — they can happen where you are, with the men you already connect with. Whether you’re part of a fraternity, men’s group, church, nonprofit, barbershop, or just a tight circle of brothers who want a consistent space to talk — you can host your own CIU session under the MENtal MATTERs umbrella.
Here’s how it works:
You provide the space and the people. That could be a church, community center, office, barbershop, or even your living room.
You set the schedule. Weekly, bi-weekly, monthly — whatever works for your group.
We train your main facilitator. We’ll make sure they’re ready to guide real conversations in a safe, inclusive, and non-judgmental way.
We handle the admin. MENtal MATTERs will provide the support and structure to help keep your CIU group running strong, consistent, and connected to a larger mission.
Why host a CIU?
Because sometimes the healing starts with one man saying, “Let’s talk.” You don’t have to be a therapist — just someone committed to creating space for real talk and brotherhood.
